Top Deck Repair Tip My truck hardware recently loosened up while I was out on the hill riding. I didn't notice right away but the holes in my lib top deck became a little wallored out. There was way to much play and if I would have kept riding im sure the top deck would have been further damaged. So here is what I did.First I cleaned out the holes using my dremel to ensure I got a good bond with the epoxy. I used pieces of a drinking straw the same diameter as my hardware to make a nice straight hole all the way through the board. I mixed up my epoxy of choice which is jb weld. I have always used it for snowboard repairs. It holds up great and you can even get ptex candles to bond to it if you abrade it and preheat it. After I had my epoxy mixed I used a hair dryer to heat it up and make it a little thinner and easier to work with. I then smear some epoxy around the inside of the holes. Stuff my straw in the hole which has paper towel in it to keep epoxy out. Fill around the rest of the straw and set the straw as straight as possible. Wait 5 hours and then push the paper towel out of the straw. And then you can push the straw out of the epoxy. The jb weld wont stick to the drinking straw well because its surface is too smooth. Wait 19 hours and your done. You can sand off and extra jb weld around the top of your hole if necessary. I am now using those beveled washer for snowboard bindings for extra clamping force. I hope this is helpful anyone who may run into this kind of issue. by JayNaga
