5lb EVA with Xtreme on top (will be my next setup).  I'm still using Xtreme on top of my stock Lib foam and it works very well.

Does your Lib/Gnu grip flake away much?

I have to be careful with the Lib foam.  So yes, it flaked a little bit, but I put strips of extreme on the edges I care about.  It helps me to clear my shoes, too.

So it would be fair to assume that people that are buying these xtreme grip kits,
are only using small strips in the important places...
instead of gripping the whole deck like they have on their website.

either way. I grip the whole deck with eva then add cut up pieces of xtreme where my feet are.

@Baden.  Yes, I'd say you are correct.  Most guys have 2 set-ups and one Xtreme pack might do the trick for both.

been there. i found after a couple runs that stuff tears really easy and its wound together with threads so it causes a mess when u want to remove it. but hey, if it works then giver. Big up on this is the graphics, that shit is made for barefootin!!. as for cheap grip..... after looking for anything local for grip best bang for the buck that i found was the yoga traction. I dont know what "lb" it is, not even sure how they rate foam, im gona google it, anyway,.. if you find a yoga mat that is made out of black foam get it. Mine was like 10 bucks for the mat and 10 for the 3m sprey adhesive. i gripped 4 boards with pieces to spare and all but one are still gripped today 3 years after. Not sure if i lucked out but it was just soft enough to sink in and was pretty waterproof.

HEY ... you guys know what would be so hardcore, broken glass grip!!!   Cheesy Cheesy

Like a champ Leo! thats how we do it!  Super easy foam tip...Go to any thrift store in the entire world(or your moms house) and grab an electric turkey knife, best foam cutter ever! Lay the foam down and run that turkey cutter right down the edge of the board.

It really easy do use  it and  it stuck well  ,   but grip without   structure    holds well only when  it not  snowy   ,  i really  would like to see same product with   structure  it would  ad lot  of friction  to   the grip.

Has anyone tried using the foam pad you can buy to go under exercise equipment, the squares that come in colors and lock together?

The EVA foam is good.  Kind a of thick 1/4" 5lb  is what I have been using.  It is soft so it actually forms to the bottom of my shoe.  My experience has been that patterns in the grip just hold snow and ice. This smooth surface closed cell stuff works really good.
