Hi everyone. I have always wanted to get a ralston snowskate but if I got one I would only be able to ride it on local sledding hills. So basically what I'm asking is weather its impractical to get such a nice snowskate and not go to a real ski hill.   Smiley

if you can buy it, just do it Smiley I'm sure you'll find a way to use it on resorts later.

There are ski resorts close to where I live but it's too much of a hustle to get there and ive also never snowskated before. I was planning to buy a lib tech on sale from revolution but theyre sold out.

They've only had 2 of them. I bought a 2010 lib from them. Awesome stuff.

I may be in the same predicament that you are in............I just picked a new Lib. My local resort, from what I a have heard, most likely will not let me on the hill (I will for sure try though). I too am just learning to snowskate but from what I have read a bi-deck is the way to go, you can do the tricks if that is what you are after or you can just shred the hill. I choose the Lib for versatility, tricks and allowed at some resorts. My plan is to learn to ride so I dont' look like an out of control idiot and then I will take it to the resort and give it a go.
