been working on a device for avalanche safety.
a Manual Inflatable Belt Pack, you have to change the co2 and repack every time.
it's attach to your leash so if your board goes it break and inflate for safety.
i will try to show a demo soon

thanks jordan
it's hook up to your sf leash the best prototype.
trying to figure out right now if it's best on the side back or front. or just on the leash so you don't sink with your board. friday backcountry. more test.

It would be cool if it activated by releasing your leash.

thats it!!!! what i'm working on it two air bags:so one for your belt and one for your leash so you can find your board.
so that your board don't bring you down deeper.
my first test was good but a release for the board is a must. and a bag so you can find it as well.
testing is slow and full of danger i have to crash to test and rebag every time. with the c02
just trying to find the right tension so it does not brake on small crash.
i'm trying to find a way so it's not to heavy on your belt.
i'm thinking as well that if you have a pack with air bag already you just need a brake clip and one air bag on the leash..
i have like 3 set up.
for brake clip i use a cheap key ring it work great.
thanks for your interest jordan.

You could make the thing you pull to activate it the airbag for the board. Airbag folded in its case, when separated from the belt a co2 cartridge fires in each one.

How big are the bags going to be though?

I have one of these:

And the canister is like a small fire extinguisher.

I mean the bag/setup is very light all things considered. Here is the canister.

oh, I'd make a pull cord or something, if you we're in a slide it might be difficult to grab that and break it off, alternatively it would be easy to fall hard enough to break it and have the airbags go off.

thanks
hope to get you a prototype jordan.
it will be the new safety device for backcountry for= noboard, powsurfing and powskating..
it's a pricy leash. it take me 25 minutes to reload at home. 45 in the backcountry..
you need extras key ring and c02 to reload.
trying to make it less pricy and faster reload?Huh?

so the leash is expensive but a back pack is around 1200$ so for the price of 300$ to save your like and your board it's a good deal.
it's not for every one. if you do lots of backcountry or sledding it's for you.
