Been using chair strap at big white, was approached by a lift manager who inquired about the set up (they are still vigilant about foot traffic and he didn't recognize me with my helmet..just making people aware of the rules.) I went on to show him the set up and brought up how we unload at certain resorts without a strap...story short he said didn't care how we get on or off as long as we are not walking!!!! Freedom! Gonna have to make sure ski patrol and lifties are on same page but its looking damn good. ka-ching

One step forward one step back, at least its not 2. After the holidays when everyone is more relaxed gonna give it another go. It's like walking on eggshells...So patience and some well timed persistence, i hope will pay off. What an up and down day...so close but yet so far...bottom line is at least I'm still allowed to ride.

Seeing how far I can take this quote thing. Hello? What's up at Tremblant? Also how about Sutton and Orford? All good? I'm guessing Sutton is golden, seeing as they allow snow-scoots.

Orford IS BUST!, the liftees are even forcing snowboarders without leashes to buy one at the ski-shop.
I guess its a money thing.

Sutton is golden!

Tremblant only allows Ski & Snowboards, but  the liftees were cool with me all day, the day i went ( I was strapped in for the chairlift) No walk ons and No running off the chairlift.

AB-Hidden Valley doesn't have chair access i been emailing back and forth with there office Manager my last email Stated

Quote
Hello,
I have been doing some thinking. I don't want to be concidered a foot passenger we as snowskaters can ride up to the chair lift like everyone else and snowskaters can ride off the chair lift aswell. If at anytime there was another snowskater that ruined this please dont category all us snowskaters to be the same. Im sorry at any time i came of angry in the email and email's past. I hope we can resolve this issue in the near future. From my understanding once upon a time snowboarders had the same issue with ski hills in the past. Please take this into great concideration.

I am hoping we can resolve it as of right now they only allow access on T-Bar, Magic Carpet and Handle Tow

So I possibly have a free pass to revelstoke this weekend.. The list says we are allowed lift access, does anyone know if footstraps are necessary?
