So i have a lib tech snowskate from i think 2009. I have the 48'' ski because i thought it would help when just taking runs down the home mountain. Though i like to set up the skate rail or something at home when we get snow. Was woundering if you guys knew anything about the qeustions i had.

1.I am thinking of getting the 40'' ski from lib, do you think that would work? Because i measured the deck and it is like 39 inchs.

2.Have any of you rode rocker trucks and will they fit lib tech snowskate, my skate just has bent metal?

3.If you have the Xtreme grip how is it?

Thanks

1. Yes - for skate tricks (rails, etc) you will want this.
2. Rocker trucks are perfect for Libs.  No problem.  Replace your Bent Metals ASAP.  It makes a world of difference.
3. It's very good.  Some folks use only Xtreme.  Some use it on top of their foam.  You might also consider replacing the stock Lib foam. It's very thin.  BoydHill and SnoSk8 (and others) have better foam tops (thicker, longer lasting).  Search the forum and you'll find more info.

I agree with JAM

In my opinion the 43 is more skate like.

You have to get Rockers.  Rocker Trucks were first built for Lib skates.  Your ski will last a lot longer them on especially if you are sliding rails.  The bent metal trucks will brake.  If you have been riding them I bet you can see stress points in the finish or even cracks.

The xtreme grip gives you a super solid connection to the board.  I recommend putting it on top of the foam where you want your foot to be.  Personally I do not like extreme grip all over the deck because if I get out of position I really need to lift my foot to release it and reposition.

Get Rockers definately, the bent metals almost ruined the top sheet of my sub. Rockers just in time.
