Premier Snowskate and Rye Airfield have partnered up to build the first ever snowskate park at a skateboard arena. The park will be built on the outdoor BMX track and operate during the winter season, snow permitting. The kick-off party and opening day best trick contest is scheduled for November 5th. Along with the contest, Premier Snowskate will also be celebrating the launch of their 2005 DVD "Submission.''

The schedule for the event is as follows:
11:00 AM  Inaugural opening Premier Team ride and demo
12:00 PM  Snowskate park open to the public
2:30 PM   Jam Style Best Trick Qualifiers
Two twenty minute sessions with the top five from each advancing
3:30 Finals. Awards, product toss, and DVD premier will follow

The snowskate park will remain open for the rest of the evening. Rye Airfield will be hosting a benefit charity silent auction starting at 6pm.

Several of Premier's top skaters are helping design the park layout and element selection. With an extremely large amount of space to work with, Premier plans to put together its' most extensive snowskate park to date. The park will include an area for beginners as well as a designated section for more advanced snowskaters including a ten set stair rail. Photos and video clips will be available documenting the opening festivities online at www.premiersnowsk8.com and www.ryeairfield.com the second week of November.

The New Hampshire location with typical East Coast snowfall is an ideal place for Premier to set up camp. Premier is stoked to work with Rye on this, as Rye is already an established center for skating and biking. Rye attracts such guests as Todd Richards, Danny Kass, Bucky Lasek, Andy MacDonald, Wee-Man, Michael Moore, Dave Chapelle, and more. Their 50,000 square foot indoor park was designed and built by Jack Murphy Productions (designer of the Gravity Games) with consultation from former Pro Skater, Dave Duncan.

The Premier Snowskate is similar to a skateboard, but is slightly wider and longer. It is made of plastic or wood with a channeled base for stability and tracking, and a foam topsheet for grip. Snowskating combines the design, physics and feeling of skateboarding and is designed for use on snow-covered hills, snowskate parks or even backyards.

Rye Airfield is New England's premier skate park and BMX track, located just one hour north of Boston, on the coast in beautiful Rye, New Hampshire. The facility sits on 57 acres of land and has one of the country's largest indoor parks, and a 1300-foot long downhill BMX Super Track which will now double as a snowskate park in the winter.
